My approach
I believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and you contain within you the ability to heal, grow, and thrive. My goal is to create a warm, non judgmental space where you can show up as your full self and feel seen, supported, and valued.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, person-centered, strength based, and relational.
The heart of my practice
I am passionate about supporting mothers- whether you are just beginning your journey into parenthood, navigating the challenges of being postpartum, expanding your family, or simply struggling with the daily grind of being a parent. As a mother of two, I understand how isolating and difficult parenting can be- but also how rewarding and transformative. My goal is to create a space where you can explore the full range of emotions and experiences that motherhood can bring up.
I also work with individuals who have experienced religious or spiritual trauma and are on the lifelong journey of deconstructing harmful beliefs. Adverse religious experiences (or even just the cultural and political climate we are currently living in) can impact how we show up in our relationships, how we connect to our own sexuality, how we relate to our family of origin, and how we move through the world. If you are looking for a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who can speak the language of fundamentalism and is passionate about dismantling systems of power and oppression, we might be a good fit!
